if you had the rights to particular drugs requiring a prescription and you don’t want to be screwed by the large wholesalers, it may be a very attractive option to use myx’s distribution system. I was surprised to read in a recent report myx we’re working on getting their “system” working properly to facilitate their distribution system. If they get it right and it works very smoothly, their distribution system will attract brands who simply want to profit share with myx. I can conceive of Myx getting offers of profit sharing. They won’t have to buy rights.
something people have forgotten is that a product is useless unless you have the means to sell it. THMD and NEXTSTELLIS are good examples of how difficult it is to get quality products into the market. The barriers are almost insurmountable. Companies with the rights to drugs don’t have many viable/profitable options, if any. You can Set up your own sales force to convince drs to prescribe but you then have to sell it, and get ripped off by a wholesaler. MYX have a system to distribute drugs and share the profits with companies who have patent rights. It’s unlikely small companies with patented product would survive setting up their own distribution infrastructure, so their only option is to be ripped off by large wholesalers. Better to partner with myx.
