The first time I did an foi request, I rang and spoke to the admin person that prepares everything. The admin person effectively hits a button to bring up the company and details using a filtered search engine and all the docs appear. They, then black out sensitive info like names and anything that would be commercial in confidence, then an assessor reviews and releases. 99% of the work has already been done.
Once lodged and payment received, there is a 30 day window to do the above work. The company can appeal the release of the info and has 45 days to validate why they are appealing. Vrx appealed the first one I did but the time lapsed and they didn't offer any reasons so the info was released.
You know, even if the assessor spends hours on it, I wouldn't care, it's our democratic right to know what's actually going on because we get zip from the company.
