Not proven as being a replacement, however, this article is just an example of how the scientific community is moving things along in the background. It's impossible to read everything that is going on around the solar world, so, an investor can be completely blindsided by a new and efficient scientific breakthrough.

While not a total disaster for VRX as it already has diversification within silica markets, a science breakthrough in solar tech would certainly steal the cherry off the top of Muchea and any plans for solar screen manufacturing....If this is where the breakthrough applies.
