There are and will be net buyers in the market and i can understand people wanting to trade the ups and downs, but in the long run, gold mines (which I invest in, not bullion, EFT's or w/e) will make a nifty profit and that will reflect in their shareprice.

And check http://www.abc.net.au/news/business/kohler-report/ , see the correlation in the end on the 1:40 broadcast? (thanks scruffy). And just to be clear, i would be the last one who would follow the central bank policy, hence i have been in gold for a good long time now; i was just pointing out a fact.
