You've been reading too much goldbug propaganda.

I've just got back from the USA and spent quite a bit of time shopping becauseon this occasion I took my daughter.

I spent a lot of time in the local Westfield, what really surprised me was the crowds in upmarket Nordstroms, there was a queue for my daugher to buy the shoes she wanted.

I went twice to the local AAPL store and it was crowded with full-time free classes on the second floor.

I was in Los Angeles a few months back and there was a queue outside the local Apple store before it opened. Walk down the street and every second person has an iPhone, I watch.

My advice is to get on a plane, go over and take a look at 'Great Depression 2'.
It's only happening in the heads of the goldbugs.
