Hey @VYR - thanks for that sharemarket total return plot - do you have a link to a higher resolution version please - I would like to print it out and show it to some people.
By the way, I think that the two graphs here being:
a. the distribution of annual returns (as posted by you); and
b. the cumulative sequence of returns on a log scale for vertical (as posted by @Alee26 )
should be part of everyone's Investing101 class.
