Is this acquisition viewed as a risky move or a positive move.....????

1. Why would a good gold producing mine be up for sale in the first place?

2. What sort of cash does this leave the company with now?

3. With gold at an all time high and a bearish share price.. Will this be viewed as a risky move and further affect the share price?

This company has always perplexed me........
