It is a telling point. Easy for people to moan about why the company hasn't (yet) come out with an announcement about finance, instead of thinking "Gee I'd rather them take a little longer to make the right decision rather than make the quickest decision." The decisions the Board make now, affect how happy we are going to be when the commodities markets sort themselves out. Sure, that tinnie you might have promised yourself for Xmas might take a little longer to purchase, but if you want short term, head to the TAB and take your chances. This is mining, the long game wins when the cycles are in your favour. Take time to read the forecasts of Glencore, BHP, Rio and their advisers.
