Seven years warning is well outside the current wholesale market which is on a 3 year look ahead. What’s probably not factored in is the plant is probably only one major failure aware from shutting - who is going to spend huge amounts of CAPEX if a major component breaks in the meantime? I suspect they will end up having to butcher individual units to keep others running. Chances of it not making 2028 in its current form are high IMO.
