Thanks Porthos but I think what we have witnessed is a combination of things. In no particular order I think they are......
1. Management have failed to deliver on set goals.
2. The Chinese have been extremely difficult to deal with.
3. Algo trading systems have totally stuffed confidence in the market by using manipulation tactics and as a result professional traders are no longer making a living from trading, so are leaving these stocks alone.
5.Macro economic factors like falling commodity prices, Chinese economy stalling and the Euro crisis have all added to this uncertainty.
It is a crisis of confidence all round I feel, but the bots play a major part in it.
