    Hah Hah, Scotty!

No I don’t want to see euthanasia on a grand scale, withdrawing medical or starvation policies implemented.

I will agree that the increased expansion into previously virgin areas cannot be blocked but the hazards that go with this expansion (in Oz anyway) have more to do with shire laws around town planning, buffer zones, distances from dwellings to bush land, minimum requirements for fire suppression systems in areas/dwellings in these areas and so forth than theories being tested, cherry picked statistics, self-promoters justifying business models, ratbags who want to believe a guess is a fact a possibility, a tax can can lower a high tide marker and stop a drought and so forth.

Regardless, insurers are a business and as has been said, business need to take any and all advantages on offer if they want to stay in business.
