I asked the question before … about Crowns MC when they got handed the Austrac fine.
i hope this information is correct as I can only rely on historical data from inv esting . Com
on 30 May 2023 the fine got handed 450M
shareprice according to the history chart about 12.8-13$ which represented a 8.bn -max8.8bn
so on a 8.5bn MC at this time the fine is 5.3% of the Mc
now SGR is just shy of 1.5bn MC so 5.3% would be a 79million dollar fine, if both businesses are penalised for the same “crime” and the value of the business is to determine the fine.
not sure how other people see it but. 79M would be a sweet deal.
