With regards to the FIRB discussion and all foreign investment now being referred I recommend you look at the interview with JF on the 7:30 report last night. As part of the discussion on the new financial package Leigh Sales asked if Chinese investments in Australia would be reduced and his response was that China was actually only no.5 in the list of countries who have invested in Australian assets. IMO he almost seemed to ridicule the idea of reducing Chinese investment.
