A couple of interesting points:
The average gold/silver exposure for hedge funds is currently only 0.3%. Historically this number has been much higher at 10-20%.
Just look at the comex, 300 paper ounces for every physical ounce of gold. We could witness the mother of all short short squeezes when people find out the vaults are empty.
