    Ion is expanding its business by capital expenditure funded by equity & debt. Earnings impact of these growth initiatives will not eventuate until FY06 & FY07.
    Short term business will be faced with both financial & operation risks with this expansion.
    Currency exposure is a key risk to Ion's longer term growth. US exports currently enjoy the benefits stemming from relative weakness in A$.
    Potential weakness in the cyclical US automotive market also poses a threat to Ion's earnings.
