Last night, Spotless again urged shareholders to not take any action over the offer, while suggesting it had entered more serious negotiations over a possible rival deal.
“Spotless is advancing discussions in respect of a potential superior proposal,” the group said.
“As previously indicated, Spotless understands the willingness of third parties to progress these discussions is dependent on confidentiality being maintained at this stage.”
