I can't see a rival bid happening. Rival bids only eventuate where the t/o target holds a strategic interest in the plans of several players or where the target falling into to the hands of a rival is too risky (eg YourTube). I don't see that being the case with Hardman on either fronts. There has been plenty of opportunity in the past for companies to target Hardman and they have not sone so. They are hardly going to make a bid now that one company has offered close to a 70% premium to the prevailing shareprice prior to the bid. There are plenty of other companies that would be more interesting as a t/o target than hdr at $2.
