    We can speculate all we like concerning the legal background.

    At first I assumed that this was a done deal, but in this instance,I shouldn't have made that assumption.

    On the surface,I thought it would be win-win; classical distressed tenement being rescued from oblivion by vastly more competent miners (EMR).

    The way I see it, they can walk away none the worse for wear(except intellectual and time resources). Or they can turn around and sue the living crap out of the government panel and possibly the fund itself for petty and unnecessary claims.

    BEANPEA:
    Walk away? It's not as simple as that. You also have to consider the affect that this has had on EMR and shareholders. Although I don't proclaim to be a 'legal eagle', I could envisage that punitive damages against the panel ,as well as the 'fund' are on the table. Not to mention private lawsuits against above-mentioned entities. mad.png
