Not sure if this has been posted but looking at the agreement, RTL need to fund their jv partner's 30% interest to production to recieve a 70% interest. Agreements such as these for large mines (hopefully.....)are normally used by majors (for example NKP/Xstrata) as larger miners can cover the finance risk when funding the jv capex. Well down the track for RTL but imo they may look at diluting or other funding options in the long term.


Any coal discovery will make a material impact on sp and possible mini RIV type projections. Looking for EV of A$50M during drilling off the back of RIV success and interest in the coal sector.
