Well now you mention is ASC does exibit some qualities that Warren Buffett looks for in a stock.

All executives want their share price to go higher... even old Rene would like to see his shares in the discounbt broker go higher and to say that the owner shouldn't care then he's mad.

Anyhow, if ASC wanted to make a script takeover (e.g. IAS) then a higher ASC share price means you issue fewer of your shares for the same purchase.
