    Well just what is insider trading?

    If RR "had " some inside info (which he in fact denies and is questionable), it would be clear cut if he held shares to take advantage of the fact. But by buying and selling prior to the takeover news being made public there is no market advantage to be gained ..... so where is it insider trading?
