I understand that there are many ways to look at this situation, and good arguments both ways, but I guess the crux of what I'm trying to impart is that, rather than get bogged down with verbosity and technicalities, which the law does on so many occassions, just look at the whole picture logically, and use some common sense.

You don't spend millions of dollars of taxpayers money to chase someone through the legal system who allegedly profited $330.00. And you certainly should not go to goal for $330.00. Especially when there are hundreds of cases which shouuld have the priority of being persued, but seldom are.

But then again I suppose not so long ago people got shipped off to Australia for stealing a loaf of bread!
