The whole case has no logic to it.
If someone is going to use insider information, especially a multi millionair..... surely they would buy, say a million dollars worth, and then sell after the news has been released.
The profit then would supply a reasonable motivation.
To buy a piddling parcel, then sell them long before the news was released just does not make any sence
