People can call themselves what they want but Rivkin said he has never told a lie and technically he did just that - he could have said he is semetic and I would not have an issue with that. I don't really care what he is and yes one of our residents whom I respect is in the same situation and I know it must be difficult to completely abandon a culture as intense as the jewish one - particularly if one is unsure about their real ancestry.
