I would say though that the sense of despair and the pervasive sense of helplessness and hopelessness that so typifies this group is often, in fact, a misinformed position.
Yes..... it seems so to the person AT THE TIME in the place he is mentally.
Yes it seems that there is no way forward.
Therapy does help here - no doubt.
