Yak, yes, I do need to be careful with generalisations. I suppose the way I am measuring success is limited in that I am measuring success in therapy in not requiring further counselling or not needing any further medication. With many physical medical conditions this can be case.
But with psichological conditions it is harder to measure as there is a larger subjective element attached to it. With many people I know it is a matter of "coping" with the situation. Medication helps them to do this.
I think with RR, by his own admission, he has been on medication for a while and this whole episode will really test him.
