I have followed Icon closely of late and held for probably longer than yourself (e.g. circa 2000). My comment of "if that is was what RJ said" was my polite way of saying you may have oversimplified his position. He does not state "categorically that he will not drill without a sale contract or an agreement in conjunction with exploration." His position is closer to saying the having a sales agreement in place can compliment exploration activities, a strategy not pursued by competitors who focus almost exclusively on reserves certification. Overall market demand for the gas can be taken as a given.
