Stu, generally people who trade gaps take their profit when a certain percentage of the gap is filled. You generally don't wait for the entire gap to be filled before taking profits, in NAB's case it would have been a very good trade even if you had targeted only 50% of the gap which is normal.
It is a valid technique, good on you for for having your own technique and I would encourage you to stick with what works for you but please don't try to discourage people from valid trading idea's just because you don't use or believe in them.
