Wayward, you know a lot more than I do. I really haven't studied gaps. I look at things a bit more simply. Bingy just said gap traders will take profits halfway? So are you now telling me they'll just sell when it gets close to the gap.......Umm so what does that have to do with the gap being filled.

My opinion when looking at is that the open of the gapdown day became the new top of the channel......under the gap. Would have needed to breakout to fill the gap and then you would have sold low in the range.

Anyway, I'm just a cleaner / bartender.
