Ok, it's been a while so thought I'd check back in.
Been receiving quite a few random messages on twitter lately asking about RLT, why the sp has dropped, if I think its a basket case and have had a number of people actually 'telling' me that I must have sold - that was news to me. lol
Truth is I've been on holiday in Thailand.
I was trying to keep my hands off the markets completely but did jump into a nice long position on a goldie that managed to pay for the whole trip and perhaps a few more, so I'm happy with that.
(have had a few random messages thanking me for posting some levels there as they've made a bucket load too. lol)
On top of that, there hasn't been much to report on RLT.
If you wanted my opinion on what the sp would do you probably wouldn't have wanted it after you read my thoughts as trading was looking very negative - latest movements will attest to that.
Many regulars on here claim to be LT holders, so I'm not sure why you waste your energy on the day to day movements when they are clearly negative and clearly normal (we can debate that later as I do agree with a few opinions on here but will try to blend that with a dose of reality later in post).
Not so long ago the sp hit $4 and will be honest with you all, I actually loaded up my sell ticket quite a few times but ultimately did not pull the trigger and I'll tell you why.
In the days the sp traded around $4 there was a lot of froth in the markets and I did genuinely expect a pullback.
It was at that time I had to ask myself is this a stock I want to trade or a stock I want to invest in?
I went through my own questions around this and unanimously came out with investment.
So right then I made a decision to put RLT in the bottom drawer - for real - and get ready to ride the rollercoaster which I knew was coming but always sucks when you're on it (especially in the lows)...
But if I got a sell signal around $4 why wouldn't I just sell there and buy back at $3 or less?
Sounds simple in theory but those moves aren't made in a day and are never guaranteed.
On top of that I needed to think of the CGT implications - this is a big part of defining trading holds vs investment holds.
For me to sell at $4 I'd need to be sure I could buy my entire parcel back at least sub $2.50 to make it worth my while and worth the stress trying to get set again.
(If you don't know how CGT works then you should speak to a qualified accountant as it makes a big difference to your bottom line)
So obviously I believe it's worth more than $4 but we'll have to wait for the answer on that one...
Today's ann was a timely one.
Believe it or not I was going to post last night as there has been some movements in the last couple of weeks that have grabbed my attention.
Theres been a number of trades both on the asx and jse that got me very interested and I would have said I was expecting an ann between Friday to next Tuesday.
We got an ann a day early but not quite what I was expecting so I'll stick to my guns and say don't be surprised if we see another in the next 3-4 trading sessions.
So for the people that have asked what I think of RLT and if I've sold, I'll just let you know I have been a buyer in the last couple of days (another reason for my radio silence - I see value and have outlined it before so don't expect me to hold your hand through the entire journey)
Could I be wrong?
For sure.
Been wrong plenty of times, just ask my ex-wife. lol
RLT is currently in my accumulation range.
This means I'm not willing to call a bottom but I'm an interested buyer and am confident to see LT gains well above the current level

Speaking of ex-wife, thats in part why I went to Thailand.
She called me to tell me she had covid so was isolating with the kids (all minimal symptoms).
I also broke up with the current missus the same day so thought why not?
Called my best mate thats been living there for 4mths and told him I'd see him tomorrow.
The rest is history and I don't regret a single thing.
Ex-wife and the kids are fine.
Ex-missus is back without the ex in front so all is good.
(She's actually coming over soon and I have had a few beers so put that in the disclaimer)
Anyway, I'm getting off track again.
Regarding some holders who have been complaining about keeping market informed.
I do understand and 100% agree in principle.
It's something that's p1ssed me off to no end over the years but also something that I've made peace with.
We are invested in a spec stock.
Timelines are not gospel and I ALWAYS expect them to have delays - I'm pleasantly surprised if they don't.
I fully agree with Stefs statement regarding our world class resource and operation and wanting to get it right.
Honestly guys, take a look around the resource sector and ask yourself where you'd like to put your money?
I challenge you to find a better sector than helium and LNG (natural gas actually just broke out in last couple of sessions so hold your hats)
Another thing that's had some big breakouts in the last 24hrs are the indexes!
Big money has signalled a potential new big leg up but lets see the next few trading sessions before getting too excited.

Summary
We are good, pullbacks are normal, delays are normal, if you believe the story then IMO there is decent value atm and I am expecting some news very soon based on recent trading patterns...
