Can't be justified can it ...you're right !
BUT people invest by looking forward .... all the gold stocks have a lower GP factored in .
ie. The market thinks GP will fall and is working on that basis .
A bet on a gold stock is a bet on the GP .
A matter now as to whether GP actually DOES fall appreciably or not .
I'm an investor with faith in the company , which I can see you see the merits of , so worst comes to worst and the GP does fall I'll wait it out .
Suppose you've noticed RMS dividend yielding .
