Accounting is another matter and I don't know exactly what'll get expensed and what not but your figure a pretty good indicator I would imagine .
That being the case illustrates the market is either dammed stupid OR a big drop in GP predicted .
But the GP can go up as well as down and I know which of those two I'd pick .
IMO the volatility of the sector doesn't in balance equate to higher medium term risk .
Yes that $2014 /oz highlights the damage that was due to hedging although to be fair most other companies did too to a greater or lesser extent .
