It's an interesting coincidence but management wouldn't have been able (legally ) to release any information to any body not available to the market so how could there be a connection ?
Thinking about it , if something DID leak before Friday and management suspected that ,then that might have been reason for an early announcement of quarterly production progress which is unusual timing .
OR
Perhaps RMS just looked the goods and on the basis of what we all knew was going to be good ,(if not how good ), was included on that basis .
And it was prudent to release production progress early as it WAS a significant development and a duty to inform the market .
All speculation I suppose and we'll likely never know for sure .
