No the decision on inclusion would have been decided a week ago but it was very difficult to obtain by the average Joe Blow.
The lady hinted that it had occurred and I am sure RMS were aware.
I am not suggesting anything sinister occurred here except that the announcement may have been released to coincide with the GDX inclusion after the fact.
