Yeah they want your shares with this latest takedown/profit taking/manipulation/rotation. Call it what you like.

They are not getting mine.
Stimulus will not end ever now so money needs find a home continually as we head into a full on digital money world.
Gold as a hard asset and hedge against inflation is still a trade in this environment- but I'm watching the AUD closely.

Been a lot of talk on share forums about restrictions on gold and eventual banning.
Usually you will see early signalling where a pollie or elite will float it on a busy news day ( Bail-in laws was a good example).
- then slowly escalate the discussion to eventual action. So there will be plenty of warning signals.
However in this Covid environment where States are very anti the Federal Govt I can see a WA Labor Government virtually calling for seccession from the Commonwealth before decimating their mining and royalty base by destroying the gold mining industry.
