It is always difficult to gauge what gold miners here are tracking, XAUUSD or XAUAUD. Our AUD is not helping much with the gdp recovery. XAUUSD still has some space to keep recovering at the very least before technical levels are tested.
I don't really know how to interpret the goodwill recently from the vaccine front turning into reality for the public. Wasn't gold a safe haven go to metal when economies were decimated by Covid? If so, we are now past that fright as vaccines offer from economic recovery to growth.
