Yes people are thinking all about the vaccine and markets are looking forward to that .
The vaccines have come fairly early and this to some extent is justified .
But the markets haven't factored in poor company profits , greater sovereign indebtedness , effects of money printing and worldwide higher levels of unemployment and ....
while levels of growth (and particularly productivity) are influenced by the sugar fix of stimulus are improving they are still low and will be continuing .
In short IMO stimulus has caused denial of economic reality .
At some point the world will need to be weaned off stimulus .
There must surely be a time for gold .
