I will add to the series of puzzling decisions by the Bob Vassie led Ramelius their failure to pick up the Dalgaranga mill and Gascoyne in the last couple of months. Unlike Apollo, which Ramelius paid a net $150m for, if they had picked up Gascoyne for about that amount, $150m, they would have immediately got a hit of about 100k oz just by sending some reasonable grade Mt Magnet ore 65 clicks down the road to Dalgaranga. Which acquisition do you think would have been more applauded by the market: what is quite honestly a mediocre, early and stranded exploration project or what is one of the most efficiently operating mills in WA.
