Thread started with an 'RMS takeover?' headline. That still has its merits in some scenarios though I'd be more interested now in a conglomerate of SPR and BGL under SL's stewardship. No synergies here but you don't need them....BGL's ounces are (arguably) sufficiently discounted now to make up for it but it needs an overhauled management team kicker. That could be a theoretical combined business with 500,000oz production a year, easily top decile grade deposits, at least 10 years of ounces and growing.. for the sum of $3.3B combined market cap at today's prices. Add PNR for the cherry on top and you might have a gold producer churning out a total of 700,000 very profitable ounces a year within 15 months for less than their combined market caps of below $4B (fully funded) & virtually debt free. Compare that to NST spitting out 1.6m oz for almost a $20B market cap........
