Whst makes the above d PEs all the more incredibly low is the fact that so many hold major levels of cash, bullion and investments . if the earnings were measured against the EV some stocks would have a PE up to a third of the ones noted above. 3 mid sized Goldie's (RMS, GOR, PRU) have about $1b of cash. bullion and investments while some others gave around d $0.5b.
