That's why I don't like participating in CRs. You have to lay out cash at least a week or two before they get issued. Typically share price goes down on a CR. Many don't get their shares into their accounts straight away, so by the time you get them you're already selling into a deflated share price whilst fighting others doing the same thing. You lose control of your money for too l ong, particularly in speculative stocks.

When CR was announced, I suggested you might be better off buying options with the money instead (or part of). Could have bought, sold, doubled your money, in less time than than the whole CR process.
