Beverly Davidson's group seem most advanced in this area as they have managed
to get Rhesus monkeys with Huntingtons up and performing pretty much as good
as normal monkeys. They are using artificial mirna scaffold construct to get a better
result.
we've seen plenty on other related neuro diseases where ddRNAi is looking the goods.
sure it could still be a way off before these prospects get into real patients, but i
sure want to be on the company best positioned to do this. Whether Benitec is
to be that company remains to be seen.
