Heya irise, thought I'd throw in a bit more on why my reverse FIB makes sense to me ...

My unconventional way


I use FIB to try understand trend movement, so the start of the move is 0% and the end is 100% regardless of direction of the movement. In the above case, 78% of the fall brings the SP to $4.

The conventional way to use FIB is:

I'd have to think in terms of; 23% of the recovery brings SP to $4. I don't see how describe the actual movement from this .. do I say 100-23 % of the fall is $4 ... or stick with 23% of recovery ..

My little brain comprehends 78% of the fall better as it describes what the move did. I've always been different, why change now
