Interesting diagram and not unexpected. I guess when you only sell 10 shares at a time its going to take a while to add up the algos have been very sneaky to move their bids behind your order on the buy and sell side, and when some volume gets traded /eg 100-200k.units), they disappear and the line is wiped. Frustrated and spooked retail (when they see 1.5M on the sell) end up selling and pushing the price further. It's pretty disgusting tactics but if retail are the ones easily emotionally manipulated then it works a treat apparently.
