Heya ndp. just a note on instos which I didn't mention previously assuming it was reasonably well known.

Institutional investors generally focus on larger more liquid companies but some do allocate a portion of their portfolio to small caps, their involvement really depends on the mandate of the fund they manage; so its not guaranteed. It is not the best idea to consider lack of institutional investors as an indication of lack of future growth, similarly their presence does not guarantee growth either. If you want to see the effect of instos piling in or exiting en mas, take note of the next index rebalancing event possibly in March.

Lastly, inclusion in an asx index only shows the market cap fits the index criteria, nothing else.

I'm sorry if this is obvious and known otherwise, I hope you have enough info to search for more knowledge ( DYOR and confirm ;-) ).
