Charts themselves only show what happened in price and volume movement, they never get "stuffed" up just because we interpret the information in a particular way.
There are fairly well considered techniques including the simplest, interpreting trends. RNU's charts have fairly consistently followed trends. Occasionally a trend will be impacted by other issues including company related or macro. But even then through analysis, you can get an idea of where the possible movements could go. Have a look back at all of my RNU chart posts, while I've never gotten an exact SP, they've been close enough to use to trading purposes.
The best use for charts if you're an investor is to understand potential movements to either set stop losses or buys. Also when a stock starts running, to understand where to take your profits. There are many published writers that show examples of how they use charts and they form a part of every professional traders/investor's repertoire. They do not only consider the charts, but they also use fundamentals similarly, they do not only use fundamentals, they also consider the charts. I understand that not everyone has the natural ability or desire for them, but as an investor, you can improve your odds learning some techniques. Again, the simplest is trends.
