If 20 steps were not inventive, I don't see why the patent office would bother about deficiencies and expect a comeback. They would have rejected it straight away, the only exception would be if they were in an actual teasing mood and doing something like, come back with removal of deficiency and then we will reject it . They have hold the objection, on the ground of deficiencies like wording and scoping. I hoped, egr had fixed them before. like "low temperature", anyone would object to it, considering how much low is low. All my guess due to limited understanding. but I hope more clarity will come when company releases it announcement. As it appears both company has moved on from the issue. Personally, I don't see it as a final rejection.

On the other hand, the rise of BKT has given me confidence that egr will soon follow the path. All in my opinion. DYOR.
