With the patent application process letters would be sent to interested parties to make them aware of EGR intention and make sure they have no objections , obviously they have.
Regardless if the opponents are successful or not doesn't mean the patent will be granted , they would be very weary to grant a patent to a mine operating in Tanzanian, what happens to the patent if the Chinese take over EGR or worse if the Tanzanian government just take the company.
