They need to be cautious. There was a significant price slump in the Graphite space this time last year. Projects have been reconfiguring for much lower OPEX and looking at low capex approaches. Funding is tricky.
Thankfully Graphite prices have recovered.
Chinese regulators have been shutting down Graphite mines due to dust pollution. Old mines and shoddy practices. This is one factor helping price recovery.
