Road Haulage Discussion

I thought it timely to start a new thread for discussion of potential mining/road haulage/shipping opportunities given that Flinders have announced that they are talking to several parties on this subject.

I suggest that regardless of the parties Flinders contract (or form a JV) with, our PIOP IO needs to get to a suitable port for shipping. That port needs to be as close as possible via suitable roads to PIOP and have sufficient capacity available to ship our IO. Ideally that port would need to be operational in time for first shipments (with previous experience for handling the design tonnage and sufficient capital to run a fully operational port).

Flinders will need a route to port. Maybe the Red Dog Highway (Karratha to Tom Price) that is may be sealed in 2023 will be well timed for that.

Flinders PIOP is about 60 km NW of Tom Price according to Flinders website.

Is there anyone that can mark PIOP on the PPA map and also roughly add the Red Dog Highway to the same map? That will be very useful for further discussion. Thanks.

Let’s explore the opportunities whilst we wait for Flinders to complete their investigations and (hopefully) advise us of any findings.
